Course Overview

During your Outdoor Adventure Leadership Foundation Entry year, youll study alongside peers from related courses, while gaining a broad introduction to sports leadership. Our Outdoor Adventure Leadership Foundation Entry Year develops the intellect, knowledge, and skills you need to work in a coaching and leadership capacity, within and beyond the outdoor sector. Graduate careers include positions in uniformed and public services, teaching, working in outdoor activity centers, running your own business, or being a freelance instructor.

General Eligibility

GCSE English, Science, Maths, and two others at a minimum grade C/4 or equivalent + 1-year Optical work experience Level 2 or 3 Diploma in Optical Retail Skills + 1-year Optical work experience + 5 GCSEs as above SMCTech qualification + 5 GCSEs as above BTEC: Considered as long as GCSE English, Science, Maths, and two others at a minimum grade C/4 or equivalent + 1-year Optical work experience is met
