BA (Hons) Modern Languages (Foundation Entry)

Course Overview

Youll have the chance to explore two languages. You should have some experience in at least one of your chosen languages, while some of our language options can be studied from an ab-initio level, where no prior knowledge is required. We offer Chinese, French, German, Japanese, Korean, Russian and Spanish language options. Our Foundation Entry degree courses are ideal if youve got the ability to study for a degree, but dont have the necessary formal qualifications to directly join an Honours programme. Its a great stepping stone to a full degree. Our programme is not only a personally enriching experience, but it also develops your understanding of the recent history, contemporary society, culture and economy of other countries.

General Eligibility

• UCAS: 64 points at A2 including a Foreign Language that can be studied at Year 1

• BTEC Extended Diploma: MPP

• BTEC Diploma: MM

• Pass Access Course: 64 points

• International Baccalaureate Diploma: Pass including 64 points from Higher Level subjects

• T Level: P (D or E)

• IELTS: 6.0 with no component lower than 5.5

• GCSE: 5 at grade C/4 including Maths and English and Foreign Language

Part Time Work Details

20 Hours of Work permit weekly for international students.
