Course Overview

Were one of the only universities in the North West to offer a Mathematics degree that allows you to choose from a range of pure, applied, and statistics modules throughout the course. You can opt to study specialist areas such as cryptology, mathematical biology, and logic. This course covers a wide range of mathematical topics, with the chance to shape your degree to your own interests and career aspirations. We ensure that what you learn is interesting, innovative, and relevant. At the end of your third year, you have the option of progressing onto our MMath (Hons) degree, which involves an extra year of advanced study.

General Eligibility

  • UCAS: 120 points at A2 including Maths at grade A

  • BTEC Extended Diploma: 120 pts from BTEC and A Level Maths at grade A

  • International Baccalaureate Diploma: 120 points from Higher Level subjects including Higher Level 6 Maths

  • T Level: M accepted alongside A Level Maths grade A

  • IELTS: grade 6 with no component lower than 5.5

  • GCSEs: 5 at grade C/4 including Maths and English or equivalent

Part Time Work Details

20 Hours of Work permit weekly for international students.
