Course Overview

During this course, youll get to explore modern British, Irish, and world history. Youll acquire a deep historical knowledge and understanding of different periods of history in various parts of the world, exploring cultural, diplomatic, political, public, and social angles. Well give you the skills you need to become a professional historian. Youll get to discover and analyze evidence and put forward your own arguments and interpretations. Some modules will cover the broad sweep of history, while others are specifically focused on particular historic events and key figures. Other modules will give you an insight into careers in museums and heritage.
