Course Overview

Indulge your passion for English Literature and explore some of the greatest writers of all time. Become a better writer, unleash your creativity and connect with industry professionals.

On this course you’ll get to study some of the greatest works by the giants of English Literature – from Shakespeare to Dickens. Through our optional modules you’ll explore and enjoy the finest examples of literary craft in various genres from all over the world – everything from American literature to gothic, graphic novels, drama, theatre, children’s literature and fairy tales.

You’ll take an in-depth look at the relationship between literature, culture and society, and how writers through the ages have sought to interpret and represent the world around them.

As well as enjoying and critiquing other writers’ works, you’ll also get to unleash your creative side. During this course we’ll help you to grow into an accomplished writer who’s able to communicate with clarity, precision and flair.

General Eligibility

• UCAS: 104-112 points at A2 including English or related subject

• BTEC Extended Diploma: DMM including English or related subject

• BTEC Diploma: D*D-D*D* including English or related subject

• Pass Access Course: 104-112 points including English or related subject

• International Baccalaureate Diploma: Pass including 104-112 points from Higher Level subjects including English or related subject

• T Level: M including English or related subject

• IELTS: 6.0 with no score lower than 5.5

• GCSEs: 5 at grade C/4 including Maths and English or equivalent

Part Time Work Details

20 Hours of Work permit weekly for international students.
