On this course you’ll get to study some of the greatest works by the giants of English Literature – from Shakespeare to Dickens. Through our optional modules you’ll explore and enjoy the finest examples of literary craft in various genres from all over the world – everything from American literature to gothic, graphic novels, drama, theatre, children’s literature and fairy tales.
You’ll take an in-depth look at the relationship between literature, culture and society, and how writers through the ages have sought to interpret and represent the world around them.
As well as enjoying and critiquing other writers’ works, you’ll also get to unleash your creative side. During this course we’ll help you to grow into an accomplished writer who’s able to communicate with clarity, precision and flair.
