Course Overview

Our programme allows you to specialise in different language pathways:

  • Language systems, studying language structure, acquisition & processing and language change.

  • Language and communication, studying how language varies according to user and context.

You can also choose to include TESOL modules (teaching English to Students of Other Languages), enabling you to teach both in the UK and abroad.

General Eligibility

  • UCAS: 104-112 points at A2

  • BTEC Extended Diploma: DMM

  • BTEC Diploma: D*D-D*D*

  • Pass Access Course: 104-112 points

  • International Baccalaureate Diploma: Pass including 104-112 points from Higher Level subjects

  • T Level: M

  • IELTS: 6.0 with no component lower than 5.5

  • GCSEs: 5 at grade C/4 including Maths and English

Part Time Work Details

20 Hours of Work permit weekly for international students.
