Course Overview

In choosing to study a Modern Language alongside English Language and Linguistics or English Literature you will greatly enhance your communication skills and gain the experience needed for a successful career in a wide range of exciting professions. If youre fascinated by the structure and usage of the English language, then our English Language and Linguistics pathway is for you. If you love exploring and analyzing literary texts and their relationship to society and culture, you can opt for our English Literature route. The Modern Language aspect will focus on developing excellent verbal and written communication skills in a language of your choice. Youll have the opportunity to spend time overseas and immerse yourself in the society and culture of a country where your chosen language is spoken.

General Eligibility

• 104-112 UCAS points at A2

• BTEC Extended Diploma: DMM

• BTEC National Diploma: D*D - D*D*

• Access to HE Diploma: 104 - 112 points

• Pass IB including 104-112 points from Higher Level subjects

• 5 GCSEs at Grade C/4 or above including Maths and English or equivalent

• IELTS 6.0 with no component score less than 5.5

• An A Level , AS Level or GCSE in any foreign language is preferable for entry.

Part Time Work Details

20 Hours of Work permit weekly for international students.
