Course Overview

This course will equip you with the principles and concepts of engineering, underpinned by a sound knowledge and understanding of scientific principles. Benefit from the latest high-quality equipment and facilities available in our new £35 million Engineering Innovation Centre.

You’ll be taught by research-informed teaching staff working at the top of their profession and benefit from state-of-the-art laboratories and digital teaching facilities within the University’s Engineering Innovation Centre. 

This course offers an optional 48-week sandwich placement in industry for full-time students between Year 2 and Year 3.

General Eligibility

• UCAS: 104 points at A2 including grade C in A Level Maths

• BTEC Extended Diploma: DMM in Engineering including Merit in Maths units

• BTEC Diploma: D*D including Maths units

• Pass Access Course: 104 points including 15 Level 3 credits in Maths modules

• International Baccalaureate Diploma: 104 points including Higher Level Maths

• T Level: M including Maths

• IELTS: 6.0 with no score lower than 5.5

• GCSEs: 5 at grade C/4 including Maths and English or equivalent

Part Time Work Details

20 Hours of Work permit weekly for international students.
