Course Overview

Foundation Entry degree courses are ideal if youve got the ability to study for a degree, but dont have the necessary formal qualifications to directly join an honours programme. Its a great stepping stone to a full degree. British Sign Language (BSL), sign linguistics and deaf studies at the University has long been recognised for world-leading research, continuous top student satisfaction rates and pioneering work on the development of employability skills. Our course covers all aspects of deafness as a social and cultural phenomenon and will enable you to develop fluency in British Sign Language. The wealth of modules available to choose from will enable you to tailor your studies to meet your individual interests and career goals.

General Eligibility

• UCAS: 64 points at A2

• BTEC Extended Diploma: MPP

• BTEC Diploma: MM

• Pass Access Course: 64 points

• International Baccalaureate Diploma: Pass including 64 points from Higher Level subjects

• T Level: P (D or E)

• IELTS: 6.0 with no component lower than 5.5

• GCSEs: GCSE English Language at grade C and GCSE Maths at grade C are not required for this course

Part Time Work Details

20 Hours of Work permit weekly for international students.
