The foundation forms the first academic year, and this preparatory year is taught at our National Centre for Remote and Rural Medicine at our Westlakes campus in Whitehaven, Cumbria. During this first year, you will learn fundamental biomedical sciences and mathematics that later in the course you will apply to normal human body functioning and then later the disease state, plus scientific communication skills. Following successful completion, you will automatically progress to our 5-year MBBS Medicine course at our Preston campus.
A2: ABB at A2 in at least two science subjects including Chemistry
