Course Overview

Every aspect of life was utterly transformed in the Modern period. The wide range of our staff research activity lets you focus on what most interests you, whether thats the Cold War, the Russian Revolution 1917-21, €˜The Troubles in Ireland, or the global impact of cultural shifts in the 1960s. At every stage, you are encouraged to feel part of our vibrant and supportive postgraduate community. Our innovative Reading Group module lets you shape the content of the course by selecting readings for discussion plus youll be able to present at workshops, seminars, and conferences. You will be able to choose from a range of modules taught by leading experts in their field, design your own short courses, receive training in research skills, run your own reading group, undertake work placements, and complete a dissertation.

General Eligibility

A 2:2 honors degree in History or a relevant discipline is required. Holders of other qualifications will be considered individually.

Part Time Work Details

20 hours of work permit weekly for international students.
