Course Overview

Taught at one of the largest providers of sport in UK higher education €“ this course will give you an in-depth understanding of the physiological and metabolic effects of exercise and training. Youll develop the practical skills required to meet the specific needs of the client, be it optimal performance or improved health. As part of your course youll: Build knowledge, expertise, and applied experience from working with athletes Develop clinical exercise physiology skills working alongside physiologists and doctors on a research project

General Eligibility

Applicants should either have at least a second class honors degree in the cognate subjects of Sports Science, Exercise Science, Physical Education, Human Physiology, Biochemistry, Physical Sciences, Physics, Physiotherapy, Medicine or Sports Therapy, at least a second class honors degree in a non-cognate subject supported by evidence of an aptitude for the subject applied for or have equivalent experience or training, normally from within the work environment.
