Midwifery - BSc (Hons) *

The Midwifery degree at Birmingham City University is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of midwifery practice, policy and research. Students will learn about the physical, emotional and social needs of pregnant women and newborns, as well as the role of the midwife in promoting health and wellbeing. The course covers topics such as antenatal and postnatal care, labor and delivery, and neonatal care. Students will also gain experience in clinical settings through placements and simulations. Graduates of this course are eligible to register with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) as a midwife.
