Course Overview
The Master of Electrical Engineering gives students advanced technical knowledge and research experience through laboratory work, graduate courses, and industry-based projects. Students study electrical power systems, electronics, automation, smart control, renewable energy, and modern electrical technologies using professional engineering software and laboratory equipment.
The program has developed strong cooperation with companies and research organizations across Busan. Graduates are prepared for careers in power generation, electrical equipment manufacturing, semiconductor companies, renewable energy, automation, research institutes, engineering consulting, and higher education. General Eligibility
Applicants should hold a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Power Engineering, or a related engineering discipline from a recognized university. Required documents usually include academic transcripts, degree certificate, passport copy, study plan, recommendation letter, financial documents, and English language test results. Applications are submitted during the Spring or Fall admission period through the Graduate School or International Admissions Office.
Tongmyong University offers scholarships for international graduate students. Tuition scholarships are awarded according to English language scores, TOPIK results, and academic performance. New international students may receive tuition reductions of 40% to 50%, depending on scholarship conditions. Students with strong academic results may continue receiving scholarships during their studies.
Part Time Work Details
International students holding a D-2 visa may work part-time after approval from the university and the Korean Immigration Office. Working hours follow Korean immigration regulations and depend on language ability and academic performance.
