Course Overview
The Bachelor of Artificial Intelligence gives students practical knowledge in AI technologies through programming, laboratory work, research projects, and industry training. Students study machine learning, deep learning, computer vision, natural language processing, robotics, cloud computing, and big data using modern software tools and AI development platforms.
The program maintains close cooperation with technology companies and research institutes in Busan. Students gain practical experience through internships, research projects, AI competitions, and collaborative industry activities. These experiences help students develop technical knowledge, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
Graduates are prepared for careers in artificial intelligence development, software engineering, data science, robotics, smart manufacturing, healthcare technology, financial technology, cybersecurity, and cloud computing. Many graduates continue to master's and doctoral programs in South Korea and other countries. The program combines academic study, practical experience, research opportunities, and international learning that support long-term career growth.
General Eligibility
Applicants should have completed high school or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Korean education system. Required documents usually include academic transcripts, graduation certificate, passport copy, financial documents, completed application form, and English language test results. Admission is based on academic records and document review.
Tongmyong University offers scholarships for international students based on academic performance, English language scores, and TOPIK results. Students with stronger language scores may receive larger tuition reductions. Continuing students may qualify for scholarship renewal by maintaining good academic performance according to university regulations.
Part Time Work Details
International students with a D-2 visa may work part-time after approval from the university and the Korean Immigration Office. Working hours follow Korean immigration rules and depend on language ability and academic performance.
