Course Overview

Our BA Events Management degree will provide you with the knowledge and skills you need to thrive in a vibrant industry that contributes an estimated £36 billion to the UK economy.

The course is designed with your career in mind; the Institute of Hospitality accredits it, and you'll benefit from placements and guest lectures with industry leaders across the capital.

General Eligibility

112 UCAS points from an equivalent Level 3 qualification listed on the UCAS tariff calculator, including:

  • A Level in at least two subjects

  • BTEC Extended Diploma – DMM

  • BTEC Diploma – D*D*

  • Access to HE Diploma

  • T Levels

  • International Baccalaureate – 24 points, including a minimum of 15 points at a Higher Level


We also welcome applications from students taking Level 3 or higher qualifications not on the UCAS tariff calculator and will assess the suitability on a case-by-case basis.

In addition to one of the above, you should have the following:

  • GCSE English Grade 4/C or Level 2 Functional Skills in English

  • GCSE Mathematics Grade 4/C or Level 2 Functional Skills in Mathematics

Part Time Work Details

20 hours of work permit weekly for international students.

Language Requirement

  • Overall Academic IELTS 6.0 with a minimum of 6.0 in Writing and Speaking; minimum 5.5 in Reading and Listening (or recognized equivalent).
