We offer MPhil and Ph.D. supervision across a wide range of human and physical geography topics. Our research engages with applied issues and public policy concerns, as well as more abstract cultural and theoretical issues. Employers play an active role in our degrees by delivering technical lectures or taking a role in professional skills modules. Many Ph.D. programs include training and work experience in commercial laboratories. Selected courses are developed and accredited by professional organizations and many courses include project-based assignments and/or case study analysis.
