Research in the School of Medical Education focuses on how we better understand and improve education within the classroom and clinical context. We especially welcome MPhil and Ph.D. applications that are innovative and creative. Our graduates are in demand, and they continue to be among the most employable in the country. By providing internships and work experience placements wherever possible, we ensure you have the relevant skills to excel in your chosen career. Employers play an active role in our degrees by delivering technical lectures or taking a role in professional skills modules. Many Ph.D. programs include training and work experience in commercial laboratories. Selected courses are developed and accredited by professional organizations and many courses include project-based assignments and/or case study analysis.
MPhil A 2:1 honors degree, or international equivalent, in a science or medicine-related subject. PhD A 2:1 honors degree, or international equivalent. Further research experience or a Masters degree would be advantageous.
IELTS 6.5 overall (with a minimum of 5.5 in all other sub-skills).
