DrPH Doctor of Public Health (DrPH)

The DrPH program at the University of Chester is a part-time, distance learning program designed for professionals who want to advance their knowledge and skills in public health. The program focuses on the theoretical foundations of public health, as well as practical applications in areas such as global health, health equity, and population health. Students will learn how to evaluate and improve public health programs, policies, and interventions, and develop the skills needed to lead and manage public health initiatives. The program is designed for working professionals, with flexible delivery and a range of start dates throughout the year.

The DrPH program at the University of Chester is accredited by the Royal Society for Public Health (RSPH) and the Public Health Education Practice (PHEP). Graduates of the program will be eligible to become members of the RSPH and the PHEP, and will have the opportunity to join the National School of Public Health.

Students and graduates of the University of Chester can use our services free of charge for up to two years after graduating.

Applicants will have a minimum of a 2:1 honors degree in Public Health or health and social care-related discipline, plus a Master’s degree in an appropriate subject.

20 hours of work permit weekly for international students.
