Course Overview

This three-year electrical engineering degree will equip you with an in-depth understanding of the digital systems found at the heart of much of the technology that's central to today's society. With access to the very latest, state-of-the-art technology, including a massive MIMO for 5G research. You'll expand your knowledge through hands-on learning and practical, real-world application. In your first two years, you'll develop a strong understanding of electrical machines and communications systems, before focusing on specialist digital communication topics, including digital systems design and mobile and cellular communication. You'll also complete an individual design project, which is an opportunity for you to showcase your skills to future employers. Recent projects include energy harvesting in wireless communication networks and digital radio interfaces.
