Fire protection engineering is a multidisciplinary program combining principles from various science and engineering areas. Our program teaches you how to apply these principles to the problem of fire protection by designing, constructing, and installing fire protection systems to prevent or minimize potential losses.
You’ll begin by laying a firm foundation in mathematics, science, and engineering, then move on to applying your knowledge through practical, hands-on laboratory experiences. As you progress through the program, you’ll also acquire the critical thinking and problem-solving skills vital in this field.
