Course Overview
We’ll teach you to become an effective problem solver by combining your biomedical engineering skills with a detailed knowledge of mechanical and electronic engineering, human performance, and biomedicine. Areas of bioengineering covered in this course are biomaterials, bio instrumentation, biomechanics, medical imaging, rehabilitation, and cellular, tissue, and genetic engineering.
We’ll give you the opportunity to take part in our industry Grand Challenge, whilst studying Masters level modules in your final year. This provides the balance of advanced knowledge and practical skills employers demand.
We are partnering with the industry every step of the way to ensure that you become the very best engineer of the future by working with all types and sizes of engineering organizations. In our innovative approach, you’ll spend a large proportion of your time each year applying theory to live, industry-led projects. You’ll also have the opportunity to apply for a year-long work placement to boost your industry knowledge even further.
