Course Overview

Journalism and English BA (Hons) is designed for people who love words and writing. The Course enables you to explore the theory and practice of journalism alongside an exploration of major literary periods and key linguistic frameworks. It is a course for students who are interested in Journalism, English Literature and English Language in equal measure The journalism modules focus on news and feature-writing, online media, and questions of ethics in mediated societies. There are a number of optional modules available, designed to offer students the ability to engage in specialisms including investigative, political, and entertainment journalism, and public relations.
