Course Overview

Taught by lecturers who are filmmakers and screenwriters, this course takes a €˜learn by doing approach. You will write scripts, research concepts, and make your own films and TV programs. The strong practical element, coupled with a work placement with partners including the BBC, ITV, Third Films, and Arcus Animations, ensure you will graduate with a diverse portfolio and the creative knowledge to take you into the broadcasting industry and beyond.

General Eligibility

120 UCAS Tariff points From a combination of acceptable Level 3 qualifications which may include: A-level, BTEC Diplomas/Extended Diplomas, Scottish and Irish Highers, Access to HE Diplomas, or the International Baccalaureate. GCSE Requirements: Applicants will need Maths and English Language at minimum grade 4/C, or an equivalent.

Part Time Work Details

20 Hours of Work permit weekly for international students.

Language Requirement

  • International applicants should have a minimum overall IELTS (Academic) score of 6.0 with 5.5 in each component (or an approved equivalent*).
