Course Overview

BSc (Hons) Computer Science with Games Development degree at Northumbria will open the door to a vast range of careers within this industry. From day one, you will be immersed in an exciting, innovative environment where you will develop your theoretical and technical knowledge and skills which will be directly relatable to your future career. This course has been developed to meet the demand for skilled individuals who understand how computers work and who have a desire to work for a games development studio after graduation. This course aims to provide you with a deep knowledge of the principles of computer science, enhanced by specialist skills in developing computer games.

General Eligibility

120 UCAS Tariff points From a combination of acceptable Level 3 qualifications which may include: A level, BTEC Diplomas/Extended Diplomas, Scottish and Irish Highers, Access to HE Diplomas, or the International Baccalaureate GCSE Requirements: Applicants will need Maths and English Language at minimum grade 4 or C, or the equivalent.

Part Time Work Details

20 Hours of Work permit weekly for international students.

Language Requirement

• International applicants are required to have a minimum overall IELTS (Academic) score of 6.0 with 5.5 in each component (or approved equivalent*).
