Study inclusive education to Masters level, or study part-time for a Postgraduate Certificate (PGCert) to gain accreditation linked to your work in schools to gain the Inclusion Quality Mark. Youll be assessed 100% by coursework. The course begins with a discussion about how the term €˜inclusion can be interpreted. Working with experienced education professionals, youll explore policies and philosophies of inclusion in relation to both special educational needs and wider inclusion groups, as well as theories of social justice and equality for all students. Well consider how to evaluate and develop policy and practices in individual educational institutions, and analyse how far current educational contexts of performance and high-stakes accountability may affect developments in inclusionary thinking and practice.
