Course Overview

Our sports courses are in the UK top 20 for graduate prospects and the top 25 for spending per student in sport according to The Guardian University Guide 2020. Focusing on the management of injuries for maximum sports performance, sports therapy is a vital aspect of the functional return of recreational, amateur, and elite athletes. The degree is underpinned by sports science disciplines and will equip you with the skills to prevent, assess and rehabilitate sports injuries. Youll treat athletes from our professional sports teams, international sports scholars, and members of the public including local firefighters and police officers. You can also gain experience with medical professionals such as sports doctors, orthopedic surgeons, podiatrists, and chiropractors.

General Eligibility

120 UCAS tariff points, BBB at A levels, DDM at BTEC, or a Merit in your T-Level.

English Language or Literature and Maths Grade 4/C in GCSE (or equivalent) are normally required.

Part Time Work Details

20 Hours of Work permit weekly for international students.

Language Requirement

  • The IELTS score for international applicants is 6 (with no less than 5.5 in each component).
