This course will provide you with experience and confidence in the field of learning disabilities nursing €“ with an emphasis on leadership and shaping a culture of care. Designed in collaboration with partners in the NHS, the private and voluntary sector, as well as carers and service users, the course provides you with the skills, experience, and confidence necessary for a career in Learning Disabilities Nursing. There will also be a strong emphasis on leadership and shaping a culture of care.
112 UCAS tariff points, BBC at A levels with one subject preferably in a science. DMM at BTEC to include 6 units in a Science or Health Science subject. 2:2 or above in a previous degree, or a Merit in T-Level in a science or health-related subject.
Access to HE Diploma from a QAA recognised Access to HE course in a health or science based subject. Applicants required to meet 112 tariff points (example of achieving this would be 24 distinctions and 15 merits and 6 passes or 21D, 18M and 6P).
20 Hours of Work permit weekly for international students.
If English is not your first language, you are required to provide a language test certificate as evidence of proficiency. This needs to be at Academic International English Language Testing System (IELTS) level 7.0 or above with a minimum of 7.0 in all sections of the test.
