Course Overview

Our specialist degree in Web Technology and Security gives you the skills and knowledge you need to work in a range of roles including design, development, maintenance, and management of secure web-based applications, systems, and networks. Our graduates have gone on work with employers such as Microsoft, IBM, Barclaycard, Network Rail, and HMGCC. Commonly, they work in the following job roles: An information security officer, Penetration Tester, Forensic computer Analyst, Security Architect, IT Security Engineer, Systems Security Administrator, IT Security Consultant, Applications Developer, Web Designer/Developer, and Database Developer.

General Eligibility

Standard entry requirements apply. A typical offer could be BCC at A-Level or DMM at BTEC. You will be expected to have achieved GCSE Mathematics (or equivalent) at grade C/4 or above. We welcome international applicants and applications from students with a range of non-traditional educational or professional qualifications.
