Our Biology of Infectious Disease (including foundation year) BSc (Hons) degree begins with a foundation year, during which youll examine core principles of biology, biochemistry, biology, and chemistry. You'll share your foundation year with others studying science-related degrees with a foundation year. The shared curriculum will develop your technical skills and competencies in a range of specialist areas, helping you to become a confident and well-rounded scientist capable of understanding your work in a variety of scientific contexts.
At least one A level (or a minimum of 32 UCAS points from an equivalent Level 3 qualification, eg BTEC Subsidiary/National/BTEC Extended Diploma). English Language and Mathematics GCSEs at grade C/4 or above (or equivalent) If you meet the UCAS points criteria but obtained a D/3 in English and/or Mathematics at GCSE, you may be offered a University test in these areas
