Throughout your four-year degree, youll receive exceptional support from experienced staff including your lecturers, mentors, and careers services. Most of your teaching will take place in our £30 million Science Centre, where youll have access to workstations and tools that mimic a real scientific environment. Your foundation year will be shared with students from other disciplines, which will provide the perfect opportunity to learn more about other areas of human sciences and allow you to consider different perspectives. The focus of this year will be on developing your study skills in the context of biochemistry, biology, chemistry, and generic scientific studies.
At least one A level (or a minimum of 32 UCAS points from an equivalent Level 3 qualification, eg BTEC Subsidiary/National/BTEC Extended Diploma). English Language and Mathematics GCSEs at grade C (grade 4) or above (or equivalent eg Functional Skills at Level 2). If you meet the UCAS points criteria but have obtained a D (grade 3) in English and/or Maths at GCSE you may be offered a University test in these areas.
