The foundation year will give you the chance to explore what your specific practice might be, with the option of specializing after this initial year. This year will be shared with students from other foundation year courses, so you'll get to learn about different disciplines within the School of Computing and Digital Media. Youll learn from tutors who are specialists in the field of film and television production, giving you an insight into the industry and its modern practices; the course also includes a work placement element. Youll be encouraged and supported throughout the course, with regular feedback given to ensure you are achieving your full potential.
At least one A level (or a minimum of 32 UCAS points from an equivalent Level 3 qualification, eg BTEC Subsidiary/National/BTEC Extended Diploma). English Language GCSE at grade C (grade 4) or above (or equivalent eg Functional Skills at Level 2).
