BSc (Hons) SPORTS COACHING AND PERFORMANCE (WITH FOUNDATION YEAR)

... United Kingdom
... University of East London

Course Overview

€œOur coaching course is about helping students identify and follow their own ambitions in whatever area they wish,€ says Course Leader Andy Preston. €œThrough our work placements, well help you develop your own skills and push your career to wherever you want to take it.€ We think your knowledge of all areas of coaching will be so thorough by the time you finish our course that youll be in a strong position to land a job in the field youre targeting. Our record suggests this is no idle boast. We've helped develop coaches in vastly differing areas. At the elite level, for instance, one of our students, Andre Fernandez, has just gone on to be employed by England Athletics, helping guide some of Britains best long jumpers and sprinters while working alongside internationally recognized coaches Clarence Callender. Andres also not a bad long jumper himself!
