Course Overview

The foundation year is an intensive year that will help you progress to the bachelors part of our Interior Design and Decoration (including foundation year) BA (Hons) degree. In the subsequent three years of your course, youll focus more on the discipline of interior design and decoration, during which youll get to explore projects spanning private, commercial, and community interiors. The foundation year will help you make sure that you choose the right specialism and prepare you for study at the undergraduate level. It will help you to build a portfolio of work, as well as develop knowledge and skills related to a range of specialist undergraduate degree programs in our School of Art, Architecture, and Design.

General Eligibility

At least one A level (or a minimum of 32 UCAS points from an equivalent Level 3 qualification, eg BTEC Subsidiary/National/BTEC Extended Diploma). English Language GCSE at grade C (grade 4 from 2017) or above (or equivalent).
