You will gain a BA (Hons) degree and Qualified Teacher Status. Your degree will focus on children's rights, values and learning.
This course trains you to teach the five to eleven age range, but this will not restrict you from working with this age group. You will study pedagogy and subject knowledge covering the Early Years Foundation Stage and National Curriculum. East London offers multicultural, multilingual and vibrant schools to learn, but your training at UEL will qualify you to teach anywhere in England or Wales.
UEL's Primary Education with QTS team comprises experienced practitioners and researchers who research various childhood issues and have diverse experience in primary and early years education.

GCSE English Grade 4/C
GCSE Mathematics Grade 4/C
Functional skills are not accepted for this course, we also require a GCSE Science grade of 4 or above.
20 hours of work permit weekly for international students.
IELTS 5.5 with a minimum of 5.5 in Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking (or recognised equivalent).
