This distance learning course is unique because it delivered in a partnership between the University of Salford and the UK’s leading authority on Family Group Conference, the Family Rights Group. The Family Rights Group introduced Family Group Conferences into the UK and have 26 years practice in this area. You will be taught by academics and practitioners who are experienced in the practice of Family Group Conferences. The academic members of staff have written about and researched the use of FGCs in social care.
This is the only postgraduate programme on Family Group Conferences in England and Wales.
Develop a critical understanding of FGC research, theory and practice
Work with experienced FGC practitioners and leading academics

Degree grade 2:2 or above.
Maths and English, ideally grade C/4 or above or equivalent.
20 Hours of Work permit weekly for international students.
The IELTS score for international applicants is 6.0 (with no less than 5.5 in each component).
