This course will develop your skills and teach you how to use emerging technologies in mobile and web development/programming. You will learn how to write intelligent mobile/web applications and gain expertise in systems design and analysis. Using tools such as React, Graphical databases, NodeJS, etc upon graduating you will be able to write scripting languages for developing dynamic, interactive, and secure web and responsive mobile solutions.
This program will equip you with the skills to design, develop and maintain secure and usable web and mobile applications that exploit the capabilities of the internet, IoT sensors in handheld devices and Artificial Intelligence.
Underlying theories are relevant to core computer science areas.
Principles of computer programming and software development.
A variety of specialised topics such as networks, computer programming, mobile applications, and intelligent systems within the area of computer science.
An understanding of the professional and ethical issues relevant to the field of computer science.
You will learn about mobile and web development including React programming with SQL and NO SQL databases. You will be able to incorporate AI algorithms in mobile and web applications and be able to program IoT sensors in smartphone applications.
Including passes at A2 in at least 2 subjects. Must include one subject in Maths or equivalent.
BTEC Diploma or Extended Diploma in a numerate or Computing-related subject, Access course in a Computing-related subject
20 hours of work permit weekly for international students.
IELTS 6.0 with a minimum of 6.0 in Writing and Speaking; a minimum of 5.5 in Reading and Listening (or recognized equivalent).
