Whether that's in writing the scripts, filming live events, editing, digital effects, or directing and producing the whole film, you'll find you have lots of opportunities to be a creative filmmaker at Bucks New University. The course team has a range of experience in the film and television industry. We teach in professional standard recording and filmmaking facilities. As well as lectures, we have professional masterclasses, guest speakers, and work experience opportunities designed to prepare you for a career in film and television. Students also benefit from filming weeks and filming live events, all of these have different demands and require flexible and organized thinking. This course is industry-recognized by ScreenSkills, the industry-led skills body for the UK's screen-based industries, and carries the ScreenSkills quality-mark which indicates courses best suited to prepare students for a career in the screen industries.
A typical offer will require a UCAS Tariff score between 80 - 104. A minimum of two full A-levels (or equivalent) is required. Every application is considered on an individual basis.
