MBA Financial Crime and Compliance

The MBA Financial Crime and Compliance program at Bangor University is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the legal, regulatory, and ethical frameworks that govern financial crime and compliance. Additional Information

The program will consist of 180 credits, divided into 12 modules. Students will have the opportunity to specialize in either anti-money laundering or counter-terrorism financing. The program will also include a dissertation and an internship component. Graduates of the program will be eligible to sit for professional certifications such as the Certified Financial Crime Specialist (CFCS) or the Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS).

The Financial Crime & Compliance MBA is delivered through means of distance learning and on a part-time basis. The programme can be studied from any location with a good internet connection. The programme emphasises areas of anti-money laundering in different contexts, anti-corruption and compliance with sanctions. Informed by the UN Principles for Sustainable Banking, the programme focuses on constraining crime and terrorism through the diligence of financial institutions.

Bachelor's Degree (4 years) with an overall grade of GPA 2.5 or 55% or higher.

Mature students will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
