You will learn about the key areas of finance in modern business organizations and the role of financial institutions and capital markets in the global economy. The course covers three core modules in derivatives and risk management, global risk analysis, and financial regulation and ethics. Specializing in risk and regulation has become much more relevant in the last decade. Regulations have changed rapidly and become even more complex, with a greater need to manage the risks associated. It is a critical aspect of the business to monitor change, understand the risks, and be adaptable to change.
Generally, a good (at least a second class Honours degree or equivalent) first degree in any subject has enabled the applicant to develop analytical and quantitative skills. If you are concerned that your qualifications do not meet our normal expectations you may apply, but you should include a short personal statement concerning your general interest in your own education, work experience and prior relevant learning.
