Course Overview

The overall aim of this course is to provide you with the academic background necessary for the master's program and to enable you to develop and practice the subject-specific academic skills required for the intensive pace of study at the master's level.

General Eligibility

Applicants are expected to have successfully completed a Life Sciences Bachelor degree program.

Part Time Work Details

20 Hours of Work permit weekly for international students.

  • Biochemistry Research Project (non-experimental) (Semester 1 & 2)

  • Advances in Medicine (Semester 1)

  • Clinical Pathology (Semester 2)

  • Case Studies in Biomedical Science (Semester 2)

2 Optional modules

  • English for Academic Purposes 2 ( Semester 1 & 2)

  • English for Academic Purposes 3 (Semester 1 & 2)

  • English for Academic Purposes 4 (Semester 1 or 2)

Applicants who do not have English as their first language must evidence an IELTS score of 6.0 overall with no less than 6.0 in Reading and Writing subtests and 5.5 in Listening and Speaking subtests.
