Course Overview

This top-up course will enable you to develop a range of key transferable employability skills, including written and verbal communication skills, IT skills, the ability to work independently and in a team, research and data analysis skills, the ability to provide support and guidance, and work in complex and demanding situations.

General Eligibility

You should possess a recognised health and social care related qualification comprising at least 120 credits at HE4 and 120 credits at HE5; for example, a diploma of higher education (DipHE), higher national diploma (HND) or foundation degree (FdA/FdSc). Each application will be considered individually. You may be required to attend an interview and/or provide a portfolio of work.

Part Time Work Details

Apprentices will need to be employed by your organization for a minimum of 30 hours per week. Your organization will also need to commit to sponsoring apprentices to complete this qualification.

Language Requirement

  • If English isn’t your first language, you’ll also need IELTS 6.0 with no less than 5.5 in any band (or equivalent). We also accept a range of other English language qualifications
