Course Overview

This postgraduate apprenticeship offers apprentices an in-depth personal and professional development program designed to transform them into confident and informed supply chain leaders. Through the study of a Postgraduate Diploma and workplace application, apprentices will gain a broad knowledge of management and leadership topics, covering areas such as strategy, financial management, human resource management, and leadership, all viewed from the perspective of strategic management of the supply chain and explored in the company of fellow supply chain professionals. With the option to progress from the Postgraduate Diploma to an MSc in Supply Chain Leadership & Management, learners will be able to further specialize their learning and add value to their organizations through in-depth exploration of a business issue or opportunity.

General Eligibility

To be considered for this program, Aston University expects that applications will have at least five years in a management position plus one of the following: A UK honors degree, or An equivalent overseas degree recognized by Aston University, or A degree-level professional qualification Candidates without one of the above but with extensive management experience and clear evidence of career progression will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Apprentices must also meet the following criteria: Be employed in a job in England with responsibilities aligned with the degree content Have a minimum of Grade C/4 in GCSE Mathematics and English (or Level 2 equivalent) by the end of the program Be a UK/EU/EAA resident for at least three years prior to starting the course. To progress onto an MSc, applications must complete all 120 credits of the apprenticeship program

  • IELTS Overall 6.5, Reading, Writing Listening, Speaking 6.0 Financial requirement You’ll need to show you have enough money to support yourself - unless you’ve been in the UK with a valid visa for at least 12 months on the date of your application. How much money you need depends on where you will be studying. You’ll need either: £1,334 per month (for up to 9 months) for courses outside London £1,023 per month (for up to 9 months) for courses inside London If you’re applying for the Doctorate Extension Scheme, and you’ve been in the UK for less than 12 months, you need to prove you have a total of £2,668 for courses in London, or a total of £2,046 for courses outside London. If you’re boarding at a residential independent school, you’ll need to pay boarding fees instead. The amount you need to pay will be on your CAS. London means the City of London and the 32 London boroughs.
