Course Overview

Find your creative voice, boost your existing skills and gain a diploma qualification at the same time as producing a portfolio of work, ready to progress to one of our degree courses. Our six-month Foundation is ideal for students who are unable to study a one-year Foundation or those who would like to develop their portfolio and language skills before progressing onto an undergraduate course. You'll explore different creative approaches before choosing the specialism you wish to pursue at the degree level. Delivered through a blended learning approach. the course includes practical workshops and studio sessions as well as lectures, creative tutorials, individual and collaborative projects, and group discussions. The course aims to develop your ability to learn independently €“ an essential skill for further study €“ so you'll be encouraged to experiment, take risks and be ambitious in your thinking and ideas.

General Eligibility

Entry Requirements — You must be 17+ years at start of the course. — You’ll need 12 years of education (or Level 3 qualification) with good grades and a portfolio.
