Our foundation year enables you to enter our BSc Physical Education & Sport and Exercise Science course even if you don’t have the formal qualifications or experience to meet the entry requirements.
This course is perfect for those who want to get a wider view of physical education, sport, and the science behind them.
You can choose a work experience setting that interests you and you'll have the chance to use advanced sports labs through which you’ll be able to conduct performance-related experiments and put theory into practice.
It also prepares you for roles in sports, physical activity, health and fitness, and the leisure industry. In addition, it provides an excellent foundation for careers in the public sector, including the medical professions (cardiac rehabilitation, physiotherapy, and health promotion), while both the armed and police forces look favorably upon our graduates.
