Our Film Production course will provide you with the mix of technical, production, and business skills you need to work in the creative industries.
You’ll use a range of digital cameras including Canon, Blackmagic Ursa Mini Pro, and the Arri Alexa Mini LF (used in the BAFTA Best British winning film, 1917). Other equipment includes Steadicam, Mix Pre-3 (portable sound recorders), and a range of lighting. Post Production facilities include AVID Media Composer. You’ll also have access to Pro-Tools and the full Adobe Creative Suite.
Regular visits from working professionals offer up-to-the-minute insights into the industry.
Film Production prepares you for employment in the film industry but the skills you develop would open up opportunities in the wider creative industries, which is one of the most rapidly growing sectors of the UK and global economy.
