You’ll be a confident communicator who can construct a clear and compelling argument and then present and defend it either verbally or in writing. You’ll also have good research skills and work well independently or in a team. You’ll be able to think analytically and solve problems – and because you’ve managed two subjects, you’ll also have good organisational skills.
Graduates in each subject have gone on to find success in diverse careers as a result, including journalism, museum and heritage work, education, business and finance, administration, PR, recruitment, management and the civil service. Many others progress to postgraduate study.

IELTS (International English Language Testing System) Academic or IELTS for UKVI (United Kingdom Visas and Immigration) (Academic) or IELTS Online at 6.0 overall with no less than 5.5 in each component skill. Please note that we cannot accept results from these tests that are over two years old at the start date of the course you intend to study.
TOEFL iBT (Test of English as a Foreign Language Internet-Based Test) or TOEFL iBT Home Edition at 80 overall with no less than 17 in listening, 18 in reading, 20 in speaking, and 19 in writing. Please note that we do not accept TOEFL My Best scores and we expect candidates to have met the relevant requirements from a single TOEFL test.
