The BSc (Hons) Health & Social Science degree is aimed at students who have a broad interest in health and the social sciences but who do not wish to specialize in a single area. The degree is underpinned by a core program in health, well-being, a community sports focus, sociology, and social policy. A feature of this degree is the second-year work-related learning module in which students will develop their employability skills. This degree enables students to explore health & social sciences whilst also gaining valuable insight into the world of work, leadership, and teamwork.
During the degree, students will be exposed to a variety of summative and formative assessments whilst developing the academic skills to be successful students at university. There are different types of assessments: Written Coursework, Presentations, and Exams.
If you do not meet the minimum requirements for the three-year program or do not feel fully prepared for a Level 4 course, this four-year program including a Foundation Year could be for you.
