To succeed, modern businesses need managers with the skills to trade on the global stage. This course offers you the opportunity to develop a particular strength in the management of international business issues, through an academically supervised business placement that will form the basis for your final dissertation project.
This Master’s gives you a wide international perspective, building your strategic and analytical expertise so you are well prepared to solve business and management issues, wherever in the world you work. It explores core areas of business such as strategic and financial management; global brand management; and intercultural business competencies – all viewed through the lens of developing patterns in world trade and the global marketplace.
The placement unit comprises one block of study on campus preparing for your dissertation project within the organization, followed by four blocks of study at the organization and a final block back at the University when you complete your dissertation write-up. The project is fully academically supervised throughout.
