Course Overview
The Accounting B.S.B.A. gives students a broad business education with a clear focus on accounting. Students study financial accounting and accounting for decision-making before moving into higher-level accounting subjects. The business curriculum adds finance, economics, management, marketing, international business, operations and business technology.
Students who begin in Madrid can use the Madrid–St. Louis pathway to continue their bachelor's degree in the United States. SLU-Madrid offers more than 200 courses each semester that can support degree requirements for programs that continue at the St. Louis campus.
The accounting program can prepare students for roles in accounting, financial reporting, audit, taxation, financial analysis and business operations. Students planning to pursue U.S. CPA licensure should check the credit requirements of the state where they plan to seek licensure.
